Based on national standards, the YX-TNP Automatic Online Water Quality Analyzer uses photocatalytic oxidation technology to realize oxidation and digestion at low temperatures and normal pressure. The analyzer can be used to measure total nitrogen and total phosphorus in various water bodies such as drinking water, surface water, municipal wastewater and industrial wastewater. Working Principle
Analysis of total nitrogen: the alkaline potassium persulfate—UV (ultraviolet) digestion—UV (ultraviolet) spectrophotometric method is adopted. It adds the solution of potassium persulfate and sodium hydroxide into the water sample, and heats to 70 ℃ under the illumination of UV light to conduct digestion, and the nitrogen compounds in the water sample will be converted into NO3-; after the test sample has been cooled down, add hydrochloric acid to conduct acidification and eliminate interference from ions such as CO 2 and CO3-; then it measures its absorbance at the wavelength of 220nm, and calculates the concentration of total nitrogen in accordance with that.

Analysis of total phosphorus: the potassium persulfate—UV (ultraviolet) digestion—molybdenum green spectrophotometric method is adopted. The mixture of potassium persulfate and sulfuric acid is added into the water and mix them uniformly, under the temperature of 95 ℃ and the illumination of UV light, the phosphorus compound will be converted into PO 43- , after the test sample cooled down, neutralize it with sodium hydroxide, and adds ascorbic acid and ammonium molybdate to conduct reduction and color development of molybdenum green; it measures its absorbance at the wavelength of 880nm, and calculates the concentration of total phosphorus in the water sample.
