Product Introduction
Combining with an imported ceramic piezoresistive sensor and with independent research and development technologies such as signal conditioning, amplifying circuits and an LCD digital display, the YX-PWM pneumatic water level gauge, with a built-in high-speed digital processing circuit directly turns the water pressure into analogue voltage or frequency output. After being amplified, the output will be turned into digital signals through the A/D converting circuit, and via a wire, it will be transmitted to the host for computing process and recording. Without building static water logging, we can directly fix the sensor in the bottom of the river to eliminate atmospheric pressure by using an impulse tube, so that the X-PWM could automatically measures and records the water level of the rivers, lakes and irrigation canals. Because of simple installation and stable performance, the X-PWM is widely used in water conservancy, petroleum, chemical industry and other fields.
Working Principle
When the water level gauge is put into a certain depth of the measured liquid, it will lead the pressure of the liquid to the positive pressure chamber of the sensor through air-guiding stainless steel and connect the atmospheric pressure on the liquid surface to the negative pressure chamber of the sensor, so as to offset the atmospheric pressure at the back surface of the sensor and get the measured value of the pressure at the liquid facing surface of the sensor, then the liquid depth can be obtained. The Formula for pressure on the liquid facing surface of the sensor: Ρ = ρ * g * H + Po
P ---- pressure on the liquid facing surface of transducer
ρ----density of measured liquid;
ρ----density of measured liquid;
g ---- acceleration due to gravity in the local area;
Po --- atmospheric pressure on the liquid surface;
H ---- depth in the liquid where the transducer is put.
