System overview
In order to practice “the Notification on Strengthening Pollutant Emission Reducing Verification and Calculation of Sewage Treatment Factories in Cities and Towns” (Environmental Protection Office, No. [2008]90), to enhance the operational efficiencies and management levels of the sewage treatment factories in cities and towns, to ensure the realization of the major purpose of the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" to reduce the total pollutant emission, and to practically strengthen the supervision on operational processes of sewage treatment factories in cities and towns, our company develops and produces a set of remote monitoring systems for sewage treatment factories, which integrate data monitoring, control, transmission and supervision management. The system applies to all the sewage treatment factories in cities and towns that have a daily processing capacity above 20,000 tons to monitor data such as water quantity, water quality, quantity of sludge generated and handling conditions at the inlet and outlet as well as the operation of the main equipment conditions of the sewage treatment factory, and to randomly read the above-mentioned operational index data and trend curves during the verification period and take the data and curves as important bases for verification of main pollutant emission reduction.
System Function
● Monitoring Function
The remote monitoring system mainly includes monitoring of water quantity, water quality and other working parameters (such as quantity of water intake, quantity of water discharged, COD, SS, liquid level), monitoring of operation conditions of equipment (such as the start-up, shutdown, power cut, failure, alarm), operation control of equipment (such as emergency gate closing control as well as control of barrier and sewage lift pump) as well as control and monitoring of operation process parameters (such as main equipments power, dissolved oxygen concentration, MLSS concentration, return sludge ratio, BOD sludge loading).
● Display Function
The remote monitoring system visually displays the water quantity, water quality, quantity of sludge generated and handling conditions at the inlet and outlet, main equipments operational conditions, operation processes as well as the general factory picture and process layout of the sewage treatment factory in graphics and images.
● Alarm Function
The System automatically implements alarming and event handling. When alarms such as out-of-limit water quality or failure or shutdown of equipment occur, the system can quickly detect them, prompt them by changing the screen status, display and print corresponding alarm texts, and meanwhile send out audible alarm to remind monitors to pay attention. The alarm data will be automatically stored for ex-post analysis.
● Storage Function
The flowrate, quantity of sewage treated, power consumption as well as COD, SS and other water quality parameters will be automatically stored on a defined periodic interval. The stored data can be displayed by curves or in lists, and can be read anytime for verification of the above-mentioned monitoring data and trend curves.
● Query and Statistic Analysis of Reports
The system can query data reports such as measuring records, working conditions and operation fault records, automatically generate daily, monthly and yearly statistic reports, and display analysis trends in multiple ways such as curves and pie graphs. As the report can be exported as multiple formats such as EXCEL and text, it can be set to be printed.
● Authority Management
With more than two levels of control authority such as system administrator and operator, the system has high security. To operate the equipment, the operator has to log in. The system automatically decides and defines the operations that can be performed by the operator according to his or her level.
● Data Sharing
Upload all kinds of information such as water quantity, water quality, quantity of sludge generated and handling conditions at the inlet and outlet as well as main equipments operational conditions of the sewage treatment factory to related departments according to requirements of various management departments for their supervision of water quality, total emission reduction conditions and main facilities operation, maintenance and management conditions. In addition, this information will be taken as the basis for calculation of main pollutant emissions reduction.
