Overview
Limestone/lime-gypsum method is the most technically matured one in the world nowadays with the widest applications and most stable running state. It suit for any coal flue-gas, the efficiency of the desulfurization is above 95%. We have all intellectual property for Desulfurization Technology of Limestone/lime-gypsum Wet Process, and can provide design, construction, management and operating services.
The basic principle for limestone/lime-gypsum wet desulphurization technology is as follows: Using cheap limestone/lime/ calcium carbide residue as desulphurization absorbent, after limestone/lime/ calcium carbide residue is crushed and grinded into fine powder, mix with water into adsorption slurry. Lime slurry is pumped into adsorption tower and contact fully with flue gas through slurry circulation pump and SO2 in the flue gas react with CaCO3 in the slurry and turn into calcium sulfite, crystallized to raw gypsum. After desulfurization, flue gas enters haze remover then discharge.
