Product Introduction

Composed of a rain receiver, metering bucket, reed switch, signal output terminal, etc., the YX-TBRG tipping bucket rain gauge, which is a metering device used to measure the rainfall in a region within a period of time, can convert the rainfall into physical quantity signals that can be used for metering to realize remote transmission of data. Its performance meets national standards, GB/T 11831-2002 Equipments for Hydrological Measuring and Reporting - Remote Measuring Rain Gauge and GB/T 11832-2002 Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge.

Working Principle

The water enters into the receiver through its inlet and flows into the metering tipping bucket through the diversion funnel. When the rainfall amount capacity reaches the desired value, the bucket tips over by gravity, which will drive the reed switch to close the circuit, to transfer a pulse signal, and to send the data output to the host computer.
