System Overview

The "Huali Environmental Quality Monitoring System" is a set of large-scale distributed computer management information systems which are effectively and seamlessly integrated of component geographic information system technology (ARCGIS), web geographic information system technology (WEBGIS) and office automation. The system is designed completely according to industry characteristics and environmental management department’s requirements. The system implements strong classification management on various professional data in environmental management. The system is able to not only analyze all sorts of elements that impact the environmental conditions but also analyze and monitor the overall environmental conditions through detailed information on pollution sources and monitoring points. By combining the On-line Monitoring and Transmission Standards of Pollution Sources from the State Environmental Protection Department, the system establishes automatic monitoring systems for environmental monitoring in various areas such as automatic monitoring of waste gas, automatic monitoring of waste water, automatic monitoring of noise, automatic ecological monitoring, automatic radiation monitoring. And the system realizes on-line automatic monitoring and data transmission for environmental monitoring through multiple transmissions, so as to provide scientific evidence for decisions, to strengthen the routine supervision and management of environmental monitoring, and to realize visual mapping and intelligent management of the environmental monitoring data as well as the utilization of spatial geographic data.
