System overview
The YX-TGMS Sewer Gas Safety Monitoring and Early Warning System is designed for monitoring the concentration of poisonous, inflammable and explosive gas in confined spaces such as sewer, etc. The monitoring items include combustible gas, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, oxygen and carbon monoxide; and it can be extended to monitor sulfur dioxide, volatile organic compounds, chlorine and other factors. The system can be externally connected to the site alarm to report the concentration overrun and send the concentration information to the monitoring platform for early warning of sudden sewage poisonous gas spill.
It can be widely used for the poisonous gas monitoring in the fields of municipal sewer, metallurgy, petroleum and petrochemical, industrial and mining enterprises, etc.
System components
The system is mainly composed of pretreatment subsystem, gas sensing unit and data acquisition & transmission subsystem.
Pretreatment subsystem: composed of sampling pump, sealed air chamber, dry filter, flow meter, liquid level switch, temperature sensor, pressure sensor and pipe line. Pretreatment subsystem uses an imported brushless DC pump with low power consumption and high service life to pump the sewer gas, and after drying treatment, the gas is supplied to the sealed air chamber for detection, and then discharged through an air outlet to the sewer, forming a circulation flow path for gas detection.
Gas sensing unit: composed of various gas sensor probes, temperature sensors and pressure sensors. The probe is inserted into the sealed air chamber of the pretreatment subsystem for gas concentration detection.
Data acquisition & transmission subsystem: takes the embedded ARM microprocessor as kernel to collect the concentration data measured by the gas sensing unit. Data acquisition & transmission subsystem can transmit the data in real time to the central monitoring platforms of corresponding departments via transmission modules, such as GPRS/CDMA/3G, etc.
